特斯拉投资者希望在第三季度财报中得到这五个问题的答案 - Tesla investors want answers to these five question...
Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) is preparing to report its earnings for the third quarter of 2025 this afternoon. Investors are looking for answers regarding the Robotaxi launch, energy division, potential future vehicle releases, Optimus, and demand stimulation without the tax credit. Using the investor platform Say, Tesla allows investors to ask questions for the earnings call. These are the top five questions that have been asked and voted for by investors of the company, and what we think about them: - What are the latest Robotaxi metrics (fleet size, cumulative miles, rides completed, intervention rates), and when will safety drivers be removed? What are the obstacles still preventing unsupervised FSD from being deployed to customer vehicles? - What we think: Tesla should release some metrics about Robotaxi operation, but it has been cryptic about fleet size and other statistics in the past. Additionally, CEO Elon Musk said Safety Drivers should be removed ‘by the end of the year,’ and we imagine this will be reiterated during the call. Regarding Unsupervised FSD, Tesla has stated that safety is its priority moving forward with the FSD rollout and Robotaxi as well. - What is demand/backlog for Megapack, Powerwall, Solar, or energy storage systems? With the current AI boom, is Tesla planning to supply power to other hyperscalers? - What we think: This is perhaps the only question of the five that Tesla will be totally forthcoming with, as it usually does not reveal vehicle plans or data on these earnings calls. However, it will be interesting to see if the company has any plans to supplement the increasing AI plans with its energy products. Energy falls under the radar with a lot of its achievements, so it really could be a major focus of this call if this question gets answered. - What are the plans for new car models? Will Tesla build compact car models leveraging the unboxed Cybercab platform? Will Tesla build a traditional SUV and pickup truck on the Cybertruck platfor...

未来的女童子军寻求成员来组建新的部队 - 科罗拉多县公民 - Prospective Girl Scouts seek members to charter n...
CORRECTION: This article incorrectly labeled the girls’ troop as belonging to the Girl Scouts of America. The prospective troop will be part of Scouting America, which was previously called Boy Scouts of America. The oath would also be the Scout Oath, not the Girl Scout Promise. The Citizen regrets the error. Two of the three prospective Girl Scouts met for the first time unofficially on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Scout Hut. Acting Chartering Scout Master George Bergfeld Sr. led Miamor Martinez and Alice Schmidt through the Girl Scout Promise and began teaching them various knots. To officially charter the prospective Troop 1312G, the group needs at least two more members to meet the minimum fivescout requirement. “We’ve been working on [the Girl Scout troop] for about a year and a half trying to get the interest in [it]… and get this going for the girls to have a place to rest,” Bergfeld said. According to Bergfeld, Columbus previously had a Girl Scout troop around a decade ago, and the city sold the Girl Scouts Hut a few years ago. He attributed the revival efforts to Martinez. Martinez was the first girl to go through the Cub Scout program in Columbus and was the first to put in her application to charter Troop 1312G. The Cub Scout program is open to boys and girls and ends after fifth grade. Afterwards, scouts split into the Boy Scout and the Girl Scouts. Martinez said she wanted to continue learning advanced skills. “[People should join] to have fun and learn important stuff,” Martinez said. “Try your hardest, and people around you will help you out.” Bergfeld said that the Boy Scouts of America have a pilot program to incorporate older girls into a Boy Scout troop, but that the organizers did not want the two to intermingle. Bergfeld said he will act as Scout Master until the prospective troop can find a woman to take over. “We want the girls to be in their [own] troop, so there’s friendly competition that way,” he said. Bergfeld said that the money and paperw...

Magic:已完成 1000 万美元融资,为酒店业带来基于人工智能的个性化服务 - Magic: $10 Million Closed To Bring AI-...
Magic, a New York-based company developing AI for real-world experiences, has raised $10 million in seed funding to revolutionize how hospitality and service industries deliver personalized experiences. The funding round was led by Lerer Hippeau, with participation from Bling Capital, Floodgate, and strategic investors Major Food Group and VCR Group, the hospitality venture founded by Gary Vaynerchuk and David Rodolitz. After operating quietly in stealth mode, Magic is now emerging publicly with its flagship product, Loyalist, an AI-based agentic CRM platform already used by hundreds of the world’s top restaurants, including Major Food Group, Momofuku, Le Bernardin, COTE, and Daniel Boulud’s The Dinex Group. Loyalist integrates a restaurant’s disparate technology systems from reservations and point-of-sale to private event management and social platforms — into a unified, real-time CRM that supports marketing, reputation management, and personalized guest engagement. Loyalist helps hospitality operators deliver tailored experiences at scale by identifying and acting on detailed guest preferences, such as favorite seating areas, special desserts, or preferred event invitations. The platform already manages tens of millions of guest interactions annually, representing over $2 billion in guest spending, and has achieved more than 10x revenue growth in the past year. Magic’s mission is to extend AI’s impact beyond digital workflows into industries like hospitality, which remains one of the largest global employers yet has seen limited AI adoption. Founder and CEO Maggie Tang, who spent years working in restaurant operations before founding Magic, envisions the technology as a way to empower front-line staff and enhance authentic guest relationships rather than replace them. How the funding will be used: The company plans to use the funding to expand its team and develop new AI-driven solutions for additional sectors such as hotels, retail, real estate, and wellness. 华盛顿县的土地被称为“碳中和”数据中心开发 - WESA - Washington County acreage pitched as 'carbon-neut...
Washington County acreage pitched as ‘carbon-neutral’ data center development In the race to develop data centers to satiate the growing appetite for artificial intelligence, Washington County is hoping to be a contender. CNX — a natural gas company based in Washington County — is teaming up with Chicago-based real estate giant JLL to market and lease the 1,500-acre Zediker Station site in South Strabane Township, about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh. The pitch includes 400 buildable acres and access to natural gas reserves, a lot of water, and Remediated Mine Gas — methane leaking from coal mine ventilation systems that’s otherwise released into the atmosphere. The companies say RMG blended with traditional natural gas creates a fuel source that can achieve carbon-neutral power generation for a data center. Dan Adamski, executive managing director at JLL, called Washington County “an attractive option for hyperscale development,” not only because of its geographical location between established data center markets in Ohio and Virginia, but also because of the amount of space, access to power infrastructure, and “the innovative approach to sustainable energy." JLL is marketing the Zediker Station site outside of Washington, Pa., as one of the largest available data center development sites in the state, saying it could support hyperscale data computing for major cloud providers such as Google, Meta and Amazon. Data centers are big buildings that house computer hardware to store and process digital information, essentially functioning as the backbone of the internet. Some of the largest cover an area the size of more than 17 football fields. A typical AI data center uses as much electricity as 100,000 households, and the largest under development will consume 20 times more, according to the International Energy Agency. They also require billions of gallons of water for systems to keep all that computer hardware cool — sparking concern in some communities that don't wan...

Safe Storage Rentals 推出人工智能驱动的网站 - Safe Storage Rentals Launches AI-Powered Webs...
October 21, 2025 Self-storage facility aggregator Safe Storage Rentals has launched a new website powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to provide consumers with facility-security ratings. Safestoragerentals.com provides details regarding storage properties in 26 states, using AI-driven algorithms to provide safety guidance, according to a press release. The site also searches and compares units by size, price and amenities, and facilitates online bookings. The ratings produced by the website are based on multi-layered security metrics including electronic keypads, high-definition cameras and vibration sensors as well as neighborhood crime data. The platform is designed to identify “top-tier protections at a glance,” the release stated. “Storing valuables shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith,” said company founder Eric Purwaka. “The self-storage world has evolved little in decades, but technology like AI can change that overnight. Our new website is designed to make safety intuitive, accessible and non-negotiable, giving users peace of mind in an era where risks are higher than ever.” Safe Storage Rentals is based in Austin, Texas. It uses AI to vet the safety and security of self-storage facilities nationwide and connects users to available units. About the Author You May Also Like

调查发现 200 多项美国童子军计划针对 14 至 21 岁儿童的虐待指控 - KJZZ - Investigation finds 200-plus alle...
Investigation finds 200-plus allegations of abuse in Scouting America program for ages 14-21 Earlier this summer, a border patrol agent in Yuma was charged with 15 felony counts after he allegedly sexually abused a 16-year-old girl. The girl was part of a mentorship program meant to provide experience and exposure to careers in law enforcement. The case is making its way through Yuma County Superior Court, but it isn’t the only one of its kind. This youth program, dubbed the Explorers, has faced more than 200 allegations of abuse. It’s overseen by the Boy Scouts, which is now called Scouting America. Investigative reporter Lakeidra Chavis tracked down the records for the Marshall Project. She joined The Show to speak more about it. Full conversation LAKEIDRA CHAVIS: This program, Explorers, is a type of youth vocational program that was created by the Boy Scouts of America a really long time ago, back in the ’70s. And it was a way, it is a way for teenagers age 14-21 into young adulthood, for them to learn about, about a specific career field. So exploring programs exist for a lot of different careers like medical fields or firefighter fields. But they are very popular among law enforcement agencies, so police departments and sheriff’s offices. And the key perk of this program, especially for law enforcement exploring, is ride-alongs, where participants can accompany an officer as they go on patrol in their vehicle. LAUREN GILGER: OK, so a perk of the program. But you found a disturbing and very lengthy history of abuse in programs like that. And specifically to do with ride-alongs, right? Tell us what you found. CHAVIS: Exactly. So like I said, ride-alongs are a key perk. But what we found in our reporting is that it is also a gateway to abuse. So let’s take a step back and talk about the two big safety policies that the Boy Scouts have for their youth programs. So one is a two-deep leadership So two adults have to be present for all programming. And the other one ...

如何无需付费或等待即可续订全球入境资格 - How to Renew Global Entry Without Paying or Waiting
All products and listings featured on Condé Nast Traveler are independently selected by our editors. However, we may receive compensation from retailers and/or from purchases of products through these links. Recently, I received an email that graces my inbox once every five years: it was time to renew my Global Entry membership, due to expire in six months. As the deadline approached, I began dreading the tedious process of reapplying in person—until I happily realized that I could apply for conditional approval online, which would grant me a grace period of 24 months. Still, I needed to complete an in-person interview, and the first appointment available was eight months away—and in another state. This is when one of my all-time favorite travel hacks saved the day: Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival. The option allows conditionally approved Global Entry applicants (again, this step can be done online) to complete their interviews at select international airports upon arriving in customs. As luck would have it, I had an upcoming trip planned to Bermuda, one of the eight countries included in the program (Canada, Ireland, and the Bahamas are other popular options). In about the same amount of time it takes most to go through immigration, I furnished my electricity bill as proof of residency and successfully renewed my Global Entry membership for another five years. With international travel requiring more patience than ever, the privilege of Global Entry cannot be overstated. I most recently experienced this after six weeks of travels through Thailand, Jordan, Türkiye, and France: upon arriving home to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), I was greeted by an immigration control line snaking through the stadium-sized hall. With my passport zipped away, I skipped past the crowds and sped through the Global Entry line. Within seconds, I had scanned my face at the kiosk—no ID check needed—and was on my merry way. To ensure you can continue enjoying the benefits of...

eXp Realty 推出人工智能助手“Mira”和人工智能培训计划 - Housing Wire - eXp Realty launches AI assis...
eXp Realty has announced the launch of two major artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives; Mira, a new AI-powered business assistant — and the eXp University AI Accelerator Series, an eight-week program aimed at helping agents learn to integrate AI and automation. Unveiled Tuesday at eXpCon Miami, Mira allows agents to instantly access real-time business data, navigate tools and perform tasks through voice or text in English, French or Spanish. The tool combines eXp’s proprietary data systems with natural language processing to simplify how agents interact with information and manage their businesses. Leo Pareja, CEO of eXp Realty, told HousingWire that the technology represents a shift toward more intuitive, conversational interfaces. “Over the next couple of years, we will see the traditional B2B enterprise software that we’re used to disappear,” he said. “Most enterprise B2B software is a user interface layer sitting on proprietary data, where you have fields and displays and screens of information that are proprietary to the enterprise. “What’s happening now, in real time, is everything is going to be a conversational chat, whether it’s verbal or typed into an AI that can pull contextual information immediately. Just think of the interface of the future as being the same style of communication and interaction, just sitting on top of proprietary data.” Mira gives agents real-time insights into their production, revenue share and payouts while streamlining access to eXp systems through single sign-on. The system sits on a closed, secure network that connects directly to eXp’s internal databases. Mira became available to all residential agents in the U.S. and Canada at the time of its unveiling during eXpCon Miami. AI Accelerator Series: Training agents for the future Launching Oct. 28, the eXp University AI Accelerator Series will provide nine live sessions taught by 11 AI trainers and coaches. The free program — part of eXp University’s NeXt Agent technology trai...

研究:户外装备将微塑料带入偏远地区 - Study: Outdoor Gear Brings Microplastics to Backcountry
From backpacks and apparel to shoes and trekking poles — lots of outdoor gear has become lighter and more durable in recent years. But those advancements are often the result of synthetic materials, which can break down into microplastics that impact the health of both humans and the environment. New research suggests that this harmful pollution is increasingly finding its way into even the most remote natural areas. That’s the conclusion of researchers who measured the amount of microplastics in two New York lakes, both of them among the highest-elevation water sources for the Hudson River. One of the bodies of water (Lake Tear) sees frequent foot traffic from hikers, while the other (Moss Pond) is more remote. Lake Tear contained 23 times the level of microplastics found in Moss Pond, according to samples gathered this year and published in a study last month. That suggests that outdoor gear worn by hikers — especially soft-soled shoes and synthetic apparel — are the primary culprits of increased microplastics in this area, according to researchers. While that may be disconcerting for those of us who love our Hoka trail runners and Arc’teryx apparel, there are ways to enjoy the backcountry and still use (some of) our favorite outdoor gear. A Study of Two Lakes Initially, researchers believed that increased microplastic pollution in the New York lakes would come from “airborne deposition,” or rainfall. In recent years, other research has determined that microplastics have become so ubiquitous in the environment that they can be carried through rain and snow. But that’s not the case this time. The huge difference in pollution levels between the two lakes suggests that direct human interference (hikers) is the most likely culprit for increased pollution. The study was a partnership between nonprofit Adirondack Hamlet to Huts and Evergreen Business Analytics, a company owned by Tim Keyes, a Sacred Heart University data scientist. “It’s a pretty clear indication given ...

However, we may receive compensation from retailers and/or from purchases of products through these links. Between Croatia and Albania, looking out across the bright Adriatic Sea to Puglia in Italy, some of the best hotels on Montenegro’s dramatic 180-mile coast sit. On the shoreline, glossy marinas and resorts, stone fishermen’s cottages, the stately Venetian Republic-era palazzi, and churches of wealthy merchants jut up against each other. Inland, through steep hills of olive groves, umbrella pines, and rough maquis lie gorges, fast-running rivers, and alpine lakes. Wolves, bears, and lynx roam, and seasonal herders graze their animals on alpine pastures dotted with wildflowers and berries. Montenegro’s compact geography, unique accommodation, and wide-ranging landscape make it an alluring destination for travelers of all inclinations, with activities to satisfy everyone from the history buff to the wellness enthusiast. The mountain-ringed system of bays that extends from medieval Kotor is not to be missed, nor are visits to the national parks, ancient monasteries, and vineyards. As for where to stay, these are some of the best hotels in Montenegro. How we choose the best hotels in Montenegro Every hotel on this list has been selected independently by our editors and written by a Condé Nast Traveler journalist who knows the destination and has visited that property. When choosing hotels, our editors consider properties across price points that offer an authentic and insider experience of a destination, keeping design, location, service, and sustainability credentials top of mind. 充满日本风情的宁静加州庭院住宅 - A California Courtyard House With Japanese-Inspired Serenity
In a quiet Cupertino, California neighborhood just a few miles from Apple’s campus and near the city’s iconic Eichler district, SHED Architecture & Design has designed a home that feels both timeless and distinctly modern. The Cupertino Courtyard House sits on a modest flat lot surrounded by homes in Mission and Spanish Colonial styles, yet it stands apart – grounded in local architectural lineage while reimagining it for a new generation. From the street, the residence leans into modern while following the strict design requirements of the area. White stucco landscape walls give nod to the Mediterranean vernacular of its surroundings, while a dark, charred-wood upper volume – clad in shou sugi ban – announces a bolder contemporary sensibility. The home’s entry is behind a slatted wood gate, partially hidden between concrete walls, through a small, secluded courtyard. This path leads to a recessed “genkan,” a traditional Japanese threshold where shoes are removed. Inside, the home unfolds as a collection of interior courtyards, each one framing views of the outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors blur the lines between interior and garden, letting natural light highlight the plaster walls and oak finishes throughout the day. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow together along the rear of the property, anchored by custom white oak built-ins that double as storage and seating. A bench built into the back of the kitchen island transforms the space into an informal gathering hub. The materials palette exudes cozy warmth and natural tactility. Clay plaster, wood, and slate bring an earthy softness that contrasts the home’s geometric, black and white exterior. A covered “engawa” – a Japanese-style porch hovering just above the ground – extends the living spaces outdoors, inviting quiet moments of reflection. At the center of the layout, a skylit stairwell serves as a sculptural element that leads to the second floor. Designed for passive ventilation, it channels ligh...
